Dwight "Whitey" Pullen (1931-1961) was a rockabilly and C&W. He had recorded a couple well-known songs called Sunglasses After Dark and Teen Age Bug in 1958. These recordings on Carlton Records received good reviews in Billboard Magazine on March 3, 1958, but none of the songs made it to the Billboard charts. He died of prostate cancer at the age of 30.
