Usually backed by The Boll Weevils, The band included Cary Cabe on lead guitar, Bill Farrar (bass), Roy
Peterman (steel guitar), Timmy Snyder (drums), and J. R. Williams on
banjo, fiddle, saxophone and guitar(!)
Boll Weevil was J.R. Williams' own label based in Tennessee (Nashville and Hendersonville)
