John M. Turioscy -member of the J.C.L. Rangers- obituary :
John M. `Yodeling John` Turioscy, 72, of East Lansdowne, Delaware County, previously of Hellertown and Palmerton, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, in his home. He was the husband of Veronica (Vaites) Turioscy for 51 years.
A graduate of Overbrook School for the Blind, Philadelphia, he was a laborer for Slevin Manufacturing, Upper Darby, for many years. He was also a singer and musician and a member of the JCL Rangers, performing in country western clubs for 35 years until 1983.
Born in Palmerton, he was a son of Mary (Bachovoain) Turioscy of Hellertown and the late John Turioscy.
