Hey Bob! This is Neil Pellegrin, host of The '50s R&B Show on WWOZ in New Orleans. I have a question about this acetate. Would you please get in touch with me at your convenience. Thanks! I can be reached at BigBeat1950@gmail.com
Hey Bob! Thanks for responding. I'm only now noticing your reply. I was wondering if it might be possible to get digitial copies of the songs on this acetate. The "Chuck" on this record is Chuck Cavet, who had a couple of releases on Foxy label as "Chuck Como." I think the songs on this acetate may have been commercially issued on a 45 in very limited quantities. (I can't recall the label, but I seem to remember seeing a photo of an official 45 release of these titles sometime many years ago.) Chuck is still around and I'm in touch with him occasionally. I know he'd very much appreciate being able to hear these songs! I'm not sure who "Gasper" is, but I'll ask Chuck. If I'm able to get these tracks from you and I play them on my radio program (possibly with Chuck as a guest), I'll be certain to acknowledge and thank you over the airwaves. Thanks Bob! Neil
