Crazy Maisie

Vinnie Rome and the Rainbeaus

Crazy Maisie

Apt 25035

Vinnie Rome is Vince Ferrizzi, from Philadelphia who is the composer and lead singer of both songs. The Rainbeaus was Johnny Krill, Ron Vitello, Tony Seferrretti, Rich Bruno, Don Danielli. (information received in comment from diana).

Not to be confused with Vinnie Rome (r.n. Vincent Montenegro) who recorded for Fargo, Decanter and other labels.

  1. Your listing for the singer for Apt 25035 (and The Rainbeaus) Bb May 18, 59 Crazy Maisie and Come Home is wrong. Vinnie Rome and the Rainbeaus was NOT Vincent Montenegro. Vinnie Rome is Vince Ferrizzi, from Philadelphia who is the composer and lead singer of both songs. The Rainbeaus was Johnny Krill, Ron Vitello, Tony Seferrretti, Rich Bruno, Don Danielli. Fix it.

  3. And thank You!! Crazy Maizie was also performed on American Bandstand by Dad and the Rainbeaus in July of '59. They also promoted the song on the Alan Freed Show in NYC, The Steel Pier Show in Atlantic City, and The Grady and Hurst Show. (Yes, Vinnie is my father!) So happy people are still listening to his music!

  5. When you mentioned Vinnie Rome who recorded for Fargo and Decanter you were thinking of Vinnie Monte, whose real name was Vincent Montenegro. While trying to find info on him I came across this post. There is pretty much no info on who Vinnie Monte was, besides listing of his records, none of which are complete. But thanks for this post anyway.
